St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

J.C. Ford Jr., 37, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 26, 2024, at 8:38 pm on a warrant for battery-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
