St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Danielle Ruth Jones, 38, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 17, 2025, at 6:59 pm on a warrant for cruelty to animals (2 counts). Jones was released on a $2,000 bond.

Deiondra Joseph, 29, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 17, 2025, at 6:59 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for monetary instrument abuse and bank fraud. Bail was set
at $29,000.

Ebonie Desha Brown, 35, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 18, 2025, at 1:07 am on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges:

operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
speeding
reckless operation
possession of marijuana
failure to stop/yield at stop sig

Bail was set at $5,813.

NARCOTICS SECTION

Elton Pinn, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 17, 2025, at 4:54 pm for following too close, possession of schedule II (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,500.

Eddie Norman Jr., 47, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 17, 2025, at 5:01 pm for possession of heroin and introduction of contraband into a penal institution. Bail was set at $100,000.
