Arrest Report - February 1, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Hodges Matthews, 39, 178 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA was arrested on January 31, 2018 at 11:23 am on a warrant for threatening a public official. On January 17, 2018, Hodges made verbal threats to a deputy who was transporting him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. The deputy obtained a warrant for his arrest. Narcotics detectives located Matthews at a residence in Amelia on the warrant. Matthews was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Crystal Bourgeois, 35, 96, Lee Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on January 31, 2018 at 11:52 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear for drug court. Bourgeois was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $200,000.

 

Juvenile male, 16, Centerville, LA was arrested on January 31, 2018 at 8:49 pm for simple battery of persons with infirmities and domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a call for service regarding disturbance in progress at a residence in Centerville. The deputy found evidence that the juvenile pushed a female victim causing her to fall to the ground. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
