Arrest Report - April 13, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Malissa Dupri, 28, 210 Pellerin Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 12, 2018 at 8 :03 am for speeding and operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. A deputy patrolling the Sorrell area observed a vehicle speeding 70 miles per hour in a posted 55 miles per hour zone on LA Highway 182. The deputy conducted a traffic stop, identified the driver as Dupri, and found that her driver’s license was suspended. Dupri was released on a summons to appear in court.

 

Amber Henson, 21, 10827 LA Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 12, 2018 at 10:47 am for simple battery. A deputy investigated a complaint of a battery that occurred at a residence in the Franklin area. The deputy collected evidence that Henson struck a male victim in the arm during an argument between the two. Henson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Henson was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

James Pollard, Jr., 50, 413 Camille Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 12, 2018 at 4:31 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and speeding. While responding to an unrelated call for service in the Franklin area, a deputy made contact with Pollard and located the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Pollard to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Pollard was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Paul Crews, 55, 821 Two Brothers Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on April 12, 2018 at 10:29 am on a warrant for aggravated assault. Deputies investigated a report of a fight in progress at a residence on Two Brothers Street in Amelia in February. While speaking with the subjects involved and witnesses, deputies collected evidence that Crews made verbal threats to a male victim while holding a razor knife. A warrant was obtained for Crews arrest. Crews turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. This is the second arrest made in the investigation (http://www.stmaryso.com/press_view.php?id=1250 ). A deputy transported Crews to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Crews was released on a $1,500 bond.
