St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Macrina Pena, 48, 242 Shady Oak Court, Houma, LA was arrested on July 12, 2018, at 2:45 pm for possession of fraudulent documents. A deputy patrolling Amelia responded to a local business where he found evidence that Pena attempted to use two forms of altered identification documents. Pena was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and incarceration. No bail is set.

 

Juvenile male, 14, Centerville, LA was arrested on July 3, 2018, at 1:39 am for theft of a motor vehicle and curfew violation.

 

Juvenile male, 15, Centerville, LA was arrested on July 13, 2018, at 1:39 am for theft of a motor vehicle and curfew violation.

 

A deputy patrolling Centerville responded to a vehicle theft complaint on Highway 317. The deputy learned that two juveniles took a vehicle without permission. The deputy made contact with both juveniles and found evidence that they were out past curfew in the stolen vehicle. Both juveniles were released to their guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.
