Sheriff Scott Anslum announces David Spencer as the new Public Information Officer for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office. Prior to employment with the Sheriff’s office, Spencer was an educator in St. Mary Parish for the past 8 years. Spencer holds a Bachelors degree from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS, and a Master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Spencer said, “I look forward to working alongside the Sheriff and Deputies of this agency as we serve the people of St. Mary Parish.”
