Arrest Report- November 5, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 129 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

John Vandercook, 47, 112 Arnold Street, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 2, 2018, at 9:00 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding and failure to honor written promise to appear.

A deputy patrolling Amelia went to a residence on Arnold Street in reference to an active warrant for Vandercook. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Vandercook and advised him of the warrant.  Vandercook was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Fabre was released on a $365 bond.  

 

Jamey Fabre, 44, 404 Darlene Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 2, 2018, at 12:34 pm for disturbing the peace-noise and resisting arrest or officer.

A deputy patrolling the area of Patterson was dispatched to a local business to assist the Patterson Police Department. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Fabre and advised him of a situation and accompanied Fabre to his residence. Through the investigation, the officers learned that there was a disagreement on weekend visitation for a juvenile. Fabre started yelling at another person and pulled away forcefully from the deputy while the deputy attempted to place him in handcuffs. Fabre was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Fabre was released on a summons to appear.  

 

Joshua Moore, 21, 18733 Samuels Road, Zachary, LA, was arrested on November 2, 2018, at 12:18 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace-fighting.

A transportation deputy traveled to another agency and made contact with Moore. The deputy transported Moore to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Moore was released on a $500 bond.  

 

Cheriechia Augustine, 31, 8048 Gabriel Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 2, 2018, at 10:24 pm for possession of marijuana.

A deputy patrolling the area of Morgan City observed a vehicle being operated without properly working license plate lights. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Augustine. K9 conducted an open-air sniff and responded at the passenger door of the vehicle. Augustine admitted to having marijuana in the glove box of the vehicle.  Augustine was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 30, 2019.

 

Travis Zeno, 34, 909 Iberia Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 3, 2018, at 2:10 pm for failure to yield, possession of firearm-felon, aggravated flight from officer, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and reckless driving.

Shana Jones, 32, 128 Bray Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 3, 2018, at 2:10 pm for interfering with a law enforcement investigation and battery on a police officer.

Deputies patrolling Franklin observed a vehicle pull out in front of another moving vehicle. The deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. The deputies followed the vehicle to a residence on Bray Street. The driver of the vehicle had fled the vehicle. Eventually, the driver, identified as Zeno, was located inside the residence.

A deputy patrolling the area of Franklin responded to assist the deputies involved in the vehicle pursuit. During the investigation, the deputy made contact with Jones after she arrived on the scene and started obstructing the investigation. As the deputy was arresting Jones, she kicked the deputy in the face.

Zeno and Jones were transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Zeno was released on a $15,000 bond. No bond was set for Jones.

 

Renaud Richard, 26, 205 John Street, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on November 3, 2018, at 5:40 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace.

A deputy patrolling the area of Franklin went to a residence on Mechanic Street in reference to a subject who had an active warrant for his arrest with the Franklin Police Department. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Richard and advised him of the warrant. Richard was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bail was set.

 

Shannon Clavelle, Sr., 46, 312 East Martin Luther King Road, Charenton, LA, was arrested on November 3, 2018, at 8:54 pm for possession of marijuana and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

Sheric Clavelle, 43, 312 East Martin Luther King Road, Charenton, LA, was arrested on November 3, 2018, at 8:54 pm for possession of marijuana.

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista was dispatched to Highway 90 in reference to a reckless driver. The deputy observed the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, Shannon Clavelle Sr. During the stop, the deputy learned of an active warrant for Shannon Clavelle’s arrest, and drugs were found. Shannon Clavelle, Sr. was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $46, 864.35 for Shannon Clavelle, Sr. Sheric Clavelle was released on a summons to appear on January 30, 2019.

 

Jamiyon Bolden, 18, 439 Sorrel Lane, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2018, at 8:54 pm for the following charges:

-        Unauthorized entry of inhabited dwelling

-        Driver must be licensed

-        Switched license plate/stolen license plate

-        Trespass-criminal

-        Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (2 counts)

-        Possession of marijuana

-        Obstruction of justice

A deputy patrolling the area of Baldwin observed a vehicle parked on the side of the Frontage Road on Highway 90. As the deputy got closer the car turned onto the highway.  The deputy provided dispatch with the license plate for a check and the plate came back as belonging to a different vehicle. The vehicle had turned into a driveway at a house, so the deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the residence.  The deputy made contact with the homeowner who stated she didn’t recognize the vehicle. Another deputy informed that there were several subjects inside the homeowner’s vehicle. The homeowner stated she didn’t know the subjects and wished to press charges on them for entering her vehicle. The deputy made contact with Bolden and two juveniles. Through the investigation, the deputy found marijuana. Bolden didn’t have a drivers license and admitted that the license plate was from another vehicle.  Bolden was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail was set.

 

Sean Gaudet, 32, 217 Neptune Street, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2018, at 1:29 pm for possession of marijuana, possession of schedule IV drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista was dispatched to a residence on Neptune Street in reference to an animal complaint. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Gaudet and through the investigation, drugs were located.  Gaudet was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Gaudet was released on a $1,500 bond.
