St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 18 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Daryl Alford, 33, 105 Nartissus, Carriere, Ms, was arrested on February 25, 2019, at 12:11 pm on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Alford was located in Pearl River, Ms. on an active warrant. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $10,000.
Stephen Glen Franks, Jr., 44, 105 Firmin St., Franklin, La, was arrested on February 25, 2019, at 3:30 pm on four warrants for failure to appear.
Franks was located at a residence in Franklin on said warrants. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $47,940.15.
Eternity Marie Bass, 21, 2990 Fourth St., Berwick, La, was arrested on February 25, 2019, at 4:13 pm on warrants for failure to appear, possession of marijuana, possession of schedule I drugs and possession of schedule IV drugs.
Bass was located at a residence in Berwick on said warrants. She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.
Ashley Francois, 31, 708 Everett St., Morgan City, La, was arrested on February 25, 2019, at 7:24 pm on a warrant for failure to appear.
Francois turned herself in on said warrant. She was booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bond has been set.
Shawn Mecoy Welsh, 48, 704 Gabriel St., Patterson, La, was arrested on February 25, 2019, at 11:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear.
Welsh turned himself in on said warrant. He was booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bond has been set at $18,957.08.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Daniel Elliot, 19, 300 Carol Rd., Bayou Vista, La, was arrested on February 25, 2019, at 1:46 pm on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A detective located a warrant on Elliot, who was already incarcerated. Elliot was arrested and booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on said warrant. Bond was set at $1,500.
