Arrest Report- August 21, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 24 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Scorpio Ledan Lemon, 36, 214 Rosebud St., Baldwin, La., was arrested on August 20, 2019, at 7:09 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace by fighting, operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled, and improper turn and/or failure to give required signal.

Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance near Martin Luther King St. in Baldwin and made contact with Lemon. The deputies were advised by dispatch that Lemon held active warrants for his arrest. Lemon was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Joseph Alcina II, 29, 128 Clausen Rd. South, Franklin, La., was arrested on August 20, 2019, at 10:04 pm for driving on roadway laned for traffic and no insurance.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Southeast Blvd. in Bayou Vista when he observed a vehicle driving in the middle of the road. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Alcina. During the stop, the deputy learned Alcina had no insurance on the vehicle. Alcina was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on November 8, 2019.

 

Connie Ranea Nolan, 49, 112 Vista Village Lane, Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on August 21, 2019, at 1:42 am on the following charges:

  • Possession of schedule II drugs
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Turning movements and required signals
  • Obstruction of justice

Deputies were patrolling the area of Southeast Blvd. in Bayou Vista when they observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Nolan. During the investigation, drugs were found. Nolan was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Greg Fonseca, 35, 115 Cumberland Dr., Gray, La., was arrested on August 21, 2019, at 5:27 am for driving under suspension and obstruction to drivers view.

A deputy was dispatched to the area of Joal Blvd. and Lake Palourde Rd. in Amelia in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Fonseca and learned through dispatch that he was driving under suspension. Fonseca was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on November 8, 2019.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Debra B. Mills, 49, 101 Hebert Lane, Amelia, La., was arrested on August 20, 2019, at 6:51 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics detectives made contact with Mills at her residence and through the investigation, drug paraphernalia was located. Mills was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on November 8, 2019.
