St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Charlotte Tonya Bracamontes, 31, 122 Rayne Court, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 28, 2019, at 5:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of battery of a police officer.

A transportation deputy made contact with Bracamontes when she transported her from another agency to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking on the outstanding warrant. Bracamontes was booked and incarcerated. No bail has been set.

 

Dustin James George, 34, 1231 Crowley Rayne Highway, Crowley, LA, was arrested on October 28, 2019, at 9:42 pm on the following charges:

-        Trespass-criminal

-        Disturbing the peace by noise

-        Reckless operation no accident

-        Driving under suspension

A deputy was dispatched to a location on Highway 318 in Jeanerette in reference to a reckless driver who had swerved into the yard of a residence and caused a disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the complainants who stated that a truck had swerved into their yard and the driver was yelling at them before leaving. Later as the deputies were trying to locate the vehicle, they received several complaints of a vehicle matching the description swerving in and out of lanes on Highway 90 east. A deputy observed the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop, and made contact with the driver, George. George was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $3,000.

 

Trey Minos Estelle, 27, 192 Mallard Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 29, 2019, at 1:28 am on an active warrant for the following charges:

-        Interfering/obstructing a fireman

-        Interference with medical treatment

-        Battery of emergency room personnel (2 counts)

A deputy was patrolling Siracusa Road when he observed a vehicle with no license plate. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Estelle. Through the stop, dispatch advised that Estelle held an active warrant for his arrest. Estelle was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.
