St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Barron Frederick Kenner, Sr., 46, 911 First Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 21, 2019, at 7:18 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to obey a traffic device.

A transportation deputy made contact with Kenner when he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking from another agency.  Kenner was released on time served.

 

Travis Joseph Skeen, 30, 606 Aristile Road, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 21, 2019, at 3:27 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, improper turn and/or failure to give required signal, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A transportation deputy made contact with Skeen when he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking from another agency.  Bail was set at $5,000.

 

Desire Delicia Delone, 27, 811 Third Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 21, 2019, at 8:51 pm for stop signs and yield signs and possession of marijuana.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Bollard Street in Baldwin when he observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Delone.  Through the stop, marijuana was observed in the vehicle. Delone was arrested and released on a summons to appear on February 7, 2020.  

 

Adrione Lyndra Manuel, 30, 4715 Autumn Lane, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 22, 2019, at 12:05 am for improper left or right turn, open container, possession of marijuana, and possession of schedule IV drugs.

A deputy was traveling north on Highway 318 in Four Corners when he observed a vehicle make an illegal left turn onto the Highway 90 off-ramp and turn around. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Manuel. Through the stop, drugs were located as well as an open container of alcoholic beverage. Manuel was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Manuel was subsequently released on a $2,000 bond.

 

Deandra Detrice Johnson, 33, 917 Willard Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 22, 2019, at 3:17 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disobeying a traffic light.

A deputy was dispatched to a local business in Bayou Vista in reference to a disturbance.  Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with business personnel who stated that two subjects were in a verbal dispute. The deputy made contact with the two subjects, one identified as Johnson, who held an active warrant for her arrest.  Johnson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Johnson was subsequently released on a $2,000 bond.
