St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 24 complaints and reports the following arrests:

John Daten Martin, 21, 3806 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, LA, was arrested on May 14, 2020, at 2:05 pm for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unauthorized use of access card. Martin was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.

Calvin Walter Griffin, Sr., 43, 519 Marie Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 14, 2020, at 3:41 pm for disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Griffin was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.

Jeremiah T. Singleton, 18, 154 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA, was arrested on May 14, 2020, at 4:31 pm for battery of a dating partner. Singleton was released on a $2,500 bond.

Ava Hirstiuf, 64, 219 Convent Street, Napoleonville, LA, was arrested on May 14, 2020, at 9:24 am for theft and forgery. No bail has been set.
