St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Louis Parker Jr., 40, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2021, at 10:10 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.  No bail has been set.

 

Lashawn Kerlegon, 24, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2021, at 10:17 pm for possession of marijuana. Kerlegon was released on a summons to appear on June 28, 2021.

 

Walter Lewis, 25, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2021, at 10:17 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lewis was released on a summons to appear on June 28, 2021.

 

Brie Hollins, 29, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2021, at 7:36 pm for battery-simple. Hollins was released on a summons to appear on June 28, 2021.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Darrius Lucas, 20, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2021, at 2:49 am on the following charges:

• Failure to dim bright lights
• No turn signal
• Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute (marijuana)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Possession of schedule I THC Oil

No bail has been set.
