St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Joshua James Folks, 42, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 29, 2021, at 10:55 am for communicating of false info of planned arson and threatening a public official. Bail was set at $75,000.

 

Lacey Nicole Yates, 37, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 29, 2021, at 12:46 pm for disturbing the peace by language.  Yates was released on a summons to appear on June 28, 2021.

 

Matthew Ryan Trosclair, 34, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 29, 2021, at 8:08 pm on the following charges:

• No license plates
• Failure to signal turn
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Possession of schedule II drugs
• Second or subsequent offenses

No bail has been set.

 

Quinryan Treon Tillman, 29, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 30, 2021, at 1:44 am on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Improper display license plates
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of schedule IV drugs
• Possession of firearm in presence of CDS
• No driver's license

No bail has been set.

 

Datelle Lanelle Lewis, 23, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 30, 2021, at 4:00 am on the following charges:

• Threatening a public official
• Improper supervision of a minor by a parent or legal guardian
• Child desertion
• Resisting arrest or officer

No bail has been set.
