St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lula Chynelle Celestin, 40, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 21, 2021, at 10:05 am for domestic abuse battery-aggravated and assault-aggravated.  No bail has been set.

 

Andrew Joseph Hebert, 29, Berwick, LA, was arrested on April 21, 2021, at 10:25 am on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges :

• Simple battery
• Simple assault
• Simple criminal damage to property
• Possession of schedule III CDS-Suboxone

No bail has been set.

 

Floyd Andrew Gage, 41, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on April 21, 2021, at 2:05 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle without proper required equipment, operating a vehicle without proof of insurance, and failing to honor written promise to appear.  Bail has not been set.

 

Whitney Bagley, 43, Amite, LA, was arrested on April 21, 2021, at 7:54 pm on three warrants for the following charges:

• possession of schedule II CDS
• obstruction of justice-tampering
• possession of marijuana
• aggravated assault
• possession of drug paraphernalia
• operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
• operating a vehicle without proof of insurance
• no license plate
• criminal trespassing

No bail has been set.

  

Kenneth Scott Beard, 42, Long Beach, MS, was arrested on April 21, 2021, at 8:35 pm for criminal damage to property-simple and resisting a police officer with force. Bail was set at $3,000.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Edward Trimm, 46, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 21, 2021, at 4:02 pm on three warrants for the following charges:

• Distribution of schedule I (heroin)
• Possession of schedule I with the intent to distribute (heroin)
• Possession of schedule I with the intent to distribute (marijuana)
• Possession of schedule II with the intent to distribute (methamphetamine)
• Possession of schedule II with the intent to distribute (cocaine)
• Possession of schedule IV (xanax)
• Possession of schedule III (suboxen)
• Resisting an officer

Trimm also held a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of distribution of cocaine. No bail has been set.

 

Misty Gaudet, 34, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 21, 2021, at 2:00 pm for possession of schedule I (heroin) and entering contraband into a penal institution.

Gaudet also held a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and failure to give required signals. No bail has been set.
