St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 26 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Dwayne Jamon Provost, 40, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2023, at 11:48 am on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Criminal neglect of family
• Aggravated flight from an officer
• Possession of schedule II CDS (cocaine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of marijuana
• Improper turn

Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
