St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 125 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Denniell Reiko-Leilani Daigle, 36, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 23, 2024, at 7:58 pm for assault-aggravated involving domestic violence and domestic abuse battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kevin William Veneralla, 44, River Ridge, LA, was arrested on February 23, 2024, at 3:23 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of theft more than $1,000 but less than $5,000 and theft of more than $25,000.  Bail was set at $30,000.

 

Jairo Juarez Perez, 27, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 25, 2024, at 12:37 am for interference with a law enforcement investigation, battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest or officer. Bail was set at $15,000.

 

Amy Heather Sanders, 42, Winnfield, LA, was arrested on February 25, 2024, at 8:05 on a Winn Parish warrant for escape, simple and aggravated. Sanders is being held for another agency.

 

Brandon Paul Landry, 41, Berwick, LA, was arrested on February 25, 2024, at 10:18 pm for reckless operation w/accident, driving while intoxicated, and driving under suspension. Bail was set at $12,000.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
