St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 134 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Decator Jake Crochet Jr., 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2024, at 5:43 pm for telephone calls-harassment, resisting arrest or officer, and duty of offender to notify law enforcement change of address. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jeremiah Thomas Singleton, 22, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 10, 2024, at 6:45 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule IV (alprazolam)
• Possession of schedule I (MDMA)
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Attempted 2nd degree feticide
• Domestic abuse battery-pregnant victim
• Violation of protective order with battery or crime of violence

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Olivia Rene Prado, 30, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2024, at 11:49 am on a warrant for failure to appear for failure to comply with the conditions of drug court treatment program for the charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jorge Coronado-Cool, 43, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2024, at 12:21 am for unauthorized entry of inhabited dwelling and criminal trespass. Bail was set at $52,500.

 

Shelby Rae Lee, 40, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on March 10, 2024, at 5:12 pm on an MCPD warrant for failure to appear on the charge of contempt of court. Bail was set at $557.50.

 

David Lawrence Dupre, 46, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on March 10, 2024, at 11:35 pm for driving while intoxicated, speeding, and open container. Bail was set at $3,000.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
