St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 48-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 134 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kevin Wade Nedd, 62, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2024, at 3:24 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of neglect of family. Bail was set at $2071.

 

Alfred Collins Sr., 55, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2024, at 6:26 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a utility vehicle on a public roadway. Collins was released on a $500 bond.

 

Chad Michael Adams, 40, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2024, at 3:50 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of theft of more than $5000 but less than $25,000, theft of more than $1,000 but less than $5,000, and monetary instrument abuse. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS

Lunden Toussiant, 24, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2024, at 5:18 pm for resisting an officer, possession of schedule I, and on a Franklin P.D. warrant on the charges of possession of marijuana, violation of CDS law, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Toussaint was released on an $8,000 bond.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
