St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 48-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 68 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lil Ruby Conley, 34, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 19, 2024, at 6:28 pm for driving while intoxicated-2nd offense and improper lane usage. Conley was released on a $2,750 bond.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Brad Vincent, 45, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 19, 2024, at 9:14 pm on the following charges:

• Failure to signal 100 feet prior to an intersection
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of schedule II (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule II (oxycodone) with intent to distribute
• Illegal possession of stolen firearms
• Possession of firearm or carrying concealed by a person convicted of certain felonies
• Illegal carrying of weapons in the presence of CDS
• Possession of schedule I (MDMA) with intent to distribute

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
