St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 22 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Valencia Wynette Charles, 36, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2024, at 9:45 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Charles was released on her own recognizance.

 

Latasha Lynette Thomas, 37, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2024, at 12:10 pm on a Louisiana State Police warrant for auto insurance fraud. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jayden Michael Harvey, 19, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2024, at 3:56 pm for theft. Harvey was released on a $3,500 bond.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Tina Stelly, 54, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2024, at 3:11 pm for possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of uniformed CDS law/drug-free zone. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Peter Joel Little, 40, Gibson, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2024, at 3:54 pm on a Louisiana State Police warrant for the charges of distribution of heroin and transactions involving drug proceeds. Little remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
