St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Kingsley Shearron, 33, 468 North Branch Street, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on October 30, 2018, at 12:58 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of resisting an officer.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on North Branch Street in reference to a wanted subject. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with Shearron and advised him of an active warrant for his arrest. Shearron was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $5,000.
Sidney Couvillier, Jr., 32, 232 Wayne Lane, Centerville, LA, was arrested on October 30, 2018, at 1:38 pm for domestic abuse battery.
Deputies patrolling Centerville were dispatched to a residence on Wayne Lane in reference to a civil matter. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with Couvillier who stated that his truck had been taken by a family member without permission. During the investigation, the deputies learned of an active warrant for Couvillier’s arrest. Couvillier was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail was set.
Juvenile Male, 16, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on October 30, 2018, at 1:38 pm for curfew violation and ungovernable juvenile.
Deputies patrolling Bayou Vista was dispatched to a residence in reference to a missing juvenile. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the homeowner who stated that the juvenile had left the residence and was missing. The deputies were searching for the juvenile when the juvenile returned to the residence. The juvenile was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Office for processing and was released to the custody of the guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
