According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Quincy Johnson, 20, 2618 Fifth Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on November 24, 2014 at 8:06 am for simple burglary (business) and resisting an officer. Continuing the investigation into the burglary of a business in Calumet (November 20, 2014), a detective developed information identifying Johnson as a suspect in the crime. While speaking with the detective, Johnson admitted his involvement in the burglary and was subsequently taken into custody. While being escorted from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City, Johnson attempted to flee from deputies. He was quickly apprehended. Johnson was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set. This is the second arrest made by the Criminal Investigation Division in this case (see previous release). The investigation is ongoing.
Kimberly Boudreaux, 19, 613 St. John Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on November 24, 2014 at 9:27 am on a warrant for possession of Schedule III with intent to distribute. Boudreaux turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin after learning of the active warrant for her arrest. While conducting an investigation into a report of an armed robbery that occurred on November 13, 2014 in the St. Joseph area, detectives made contact with Boudreaux and learned that while at a location on Welch Lane she attempted to sell over two dozen Lortab pills. Detectives subsequently obtained a warrant for her arrest. Boudreaux was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $10,000.
INFO ON ARMED ROBBERY CASE: Detectives identified the suspect in the armed robbery as 22 year old Efremzimbalist Randle, Jr. with the last known address of Pickett Street in Franklin. Detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest. Randle is wanted on the charge of armed robbery with a firearm for pointing a gun at a female victim and demanding money while at a location on Gumpoint Lane. The following arrest was made on Friday, November 21, 2014.
Miranda Vining, 31, 205 Onstead Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested at 3:33 pm on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Vining turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City. She was released on a summons to appear in court on February 10, 2015.
