Arrest Report- March 1, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tyrus Polidore, 28, 153 Roy’s Ln., Centerville, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 6:43 am on a warrant for failure to appear.

Polidore was located at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on said warrant.  He was transported to the St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond has been set at $1,130.

 

Kimaya Joseph, 25, 416 Morris St., Franklin, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 10:49 am on a warrant from Lafayette Parish for failure to appear on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of schedule IV drugs.

Joseph was located at Third Ward City Court on said warrants.  She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Meagan Henry, 28, 1417 Glenview Dr., Deridder, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 10:59 am on a warrant from City Court of Morgan City for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Henry was located at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on said warrant.  She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Quentin Henry, 32, 1417 Glenview Dr., Deridder, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 11:02 am on a warrant from City Court of Morgan City for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Henry was located at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on said warrant.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Teldrich Toussaint, 21, 905 ½ Willow St., Franklin, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 12:24 pm on a warrant for burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Jennifer Lynn Melanson, 19, 612 Bigler St., Franklin, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 11:09 pm on a warrant for burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Juvenile Male, 17, Charenton, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 3:10 pm on a warrant for burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Deputies were conducting an investigation of a burglary in which several firearms were stolen.  Upon further investigation, it was learned that Toussaint, Melanson and a juvenile male took part in the burglary.  All three subjects were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Anthony Harris, 23, 214 Arizona St., Morgan City, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 3:29 pm for remaining where forbidden and resisting arrest.

Harris was located at a Marguerite St. business which he refused to leave.  Upon the deputy attempting to effect an arrest, Harris attempted to flee from the deputy.  He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond has been set at $3,000.

 

Micky Collins, 39, 2503 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 7:26 pm on a warrant from Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple battery.

Collins was located at a residence on Chitimacha Trail on said warrant.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Juan Manuel Martinez Pizano, 25, 113 Village Ln., Amelia, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 9:29 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle and disturbing the peace intoxicated.

A deputy was dispatched to the area of Village Ln., Amelia, La, in reference to a vehicle stuck in the yard.  Upon arrival, the suspect vehicle had left the scene.  The suspect arrived back on the scene consuming alcohol.  Pizano was identified as the driver by a witness.  A strong odor of alcohol was observed radiating from Pizano’s person.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $1,500.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Kimber Dugas, 29, 1005 Myrtle St., Morgan City, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 9:12 pm on warrants for the following charges:

            -possession of drug paraphernalia

            -possession of schedule I (Heroin)

            -possession of schedule II (Methamphetamine)

            -possession of schedule II (Cocaine)

            -possession of schedule IV (Zolpidem)

            -possession of legend drug w/o prescription (3 counts)

While following up on a missing person’s complaint, Dugas was located at a residence in Franklin, La.  She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.
