According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Brenda Randle, 52, 113 Hendricks Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on January 6, 2015 at 12:26 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy responded to a report of a fire in a room at the Plantation Inn on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. The deputy made contact with the occupant of the room, identified as Randle. During the investigation, the deputy located a pipe used to smoke crack on Randle’s person. Randle was transported to the parish jail for booking and was later released on a summons to appear in court on April 7, 2015. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal.
Charles Cantrell, 44, 150 Two Sisters Court, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on January 6, 2015 at 2:11 pm on a warrant for violation of a protective order. A deputy located Cantrell at his residence on the warrant. The warrant was obtained after the deputy assigned to the complaint determined that Cantrell made attempts to contact the female subject named in the protective order through text messages. Cantrell was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Terry J. Kennerson, 25, 1209 Canal Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on January 6, 2015 at 7:55 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on Bridge Road in the Patterson area. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a truck blocking the roadway. The deputy located the owner of the truck who was identified as Kennerson and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Kennerson to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $3,606.86.
The following arrest was made on January 5, 2015.
Georgette L. Bush, 27, 1015 Oakdale Street, Franklin, LA was arrested at 2:37 pm on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy located Bush at a business on Main Street in Franklin on the warrant. The deputy transported Bush to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $100,000.
