St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 113 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Cody Paul Trosclair, 29, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on July 30, 2021, at 8:58 pm for disturbing the peace-intoxicated, battery-simple, and resisting by force. Bail was set at $7,000.

 

Gregory Paul Tabb, 55, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 30, 2021, at 8:58 pm for battery-simple. Tabb was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

Ronnie Joseph Randle, 29, St. Martinville, LA, was arrested on July 31, 2021, at 1:33 pm on a Lafayette P.D. warrant for the charges of attempted second degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Randle is being held for another agency.

 

Carlton Lance McGuire, 36, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 31, 2021, at 8:34 am for hit and run. Tabb was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

Angel Collins, 18, Charenton, LA, was arrested on July 31, 2021, at 8:27 pm for resisting arrest or officer and obstruction public passage. Bail was set at $1,750.

 

Anthony Williams, 68, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 31, 2021, at 9:19 pm for improper lane usage, possession of marijuana, and possession of synthetic cannabinoids. Williams was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

Keith Michael Fontenot, 35, Opelousas, LA, was arrested on August 1, 2021, at 1:48 pm on the following charges:

• Open container
• Possession of a firearm-felon
• Possession of firearm in presence of a CDS
• Possession of marijuana

Fontentot also held an MCPD warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana-less than 14 grams. Bail was set on the SMPSO charges at $10,175.

 

Juvenile Male, 15, Napoleonville, LA, was arrested on August 1, 2021, at 3:04 pm for possession of marijuana. The juvenile male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Elizabeth Claire Blanchard, 28, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on August 2, 2021, at 12:06 am for possession of drug paraphernalia. Blanchard was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.

 

Trent A. Gilbert, 37, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 2, 2021, at 11:55 pm for mufflers and driving under suspension. Gilbert was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.

 

James Michael Bertrand, 61, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on August 2, 2021, at 12:53 am on the following charges:

• Mufflers
• Improper lane usage
• Open container
• Possession of marijuana

Bertrand was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Gabrieo Boulanger, 32, Berwick, LA, was arrested on July 30, 2021, at 6:27 pm for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Boulanger was released on a $26,500 bond.
