St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Don Guy, 38, Houston, TX, was arrested on February 16, 2022, at 6:16 pm for possession of marijuana. Guy was released on a summons to appear on May 10, 2022.

 

Marcus Damond Austin, 37, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 16, 2022, at 8:02 pm on the following charges:

• No headlights
• Possession of schedule II drugs
• Possession of schedule IV drugs
• Possession of marijuana
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Failure to appear warrant- criminal neglect of family

Bail has not been set.

 

Karon Lamar McBride, 30, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on February 16, 2022, at 9:48 pm on warrants for failure to appear in Lafayette Parish and Harris County, Texas. McBride is being held for another agency.

 

Tristen John Charpentier, 24, Carencro, LA, was arrested on February 16, 2022, at 11:39 pm on the following charges:

• Speeding
• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
• Possession of THC wax
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set.

 

Kalep Percle, 19, Houma, LA, was arrested on February 16, 2022, at 11:39 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Percle was released on a summons to appear on May 10, 2022.
