St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tom "Dee" Nguyen, 64, Amelia, LA, was arrested on March 10, 2022, at 8:23 am for leash law. Nguyen was released on a summons to appear on June 15, 2022.

 

Demarcus Tramaine Skipper, 27, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 10, 2022, at 1:29 pm for battery-second degree. Skipper continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Jose Rodriguez, 19, Gibson, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2022, at 11:12 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• No insurance
• Possession of marijuana
• Improper display of license plates

Rodriguez was released on a summons to appear on June 15, 2022.

Don Curtis Williams, 44, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 11, 2022, at 5:01 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Bail has not been set.
