According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Jason Cooper, 37, 100 Fairview Drive, Berwick, LA was arrested on May 4, 2015 at 5:26 pm for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office accompanied by the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 100 Fairview Drive. Detectives located Cooper in the front yard. During the search of Cooper’s residence, detectives located several bags of methamphetamine. Cooper was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Cooper was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Letitia D. Boudreaux, 39, 246 Prairie Road North, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 3, 2015 at 10:12 pm for driving while intoxicated 2nd offense and driving under suspension. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 in the Franklin area. While speaking with the driver, Boudreaux, the deputy detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and person. The deputy conducted a field sobriety test on which Boudreaux performed poorly. Boudreaux later registered a 0.128 grams percent blood alcohol concentration. The deputy transported Boudreaux to the parish jail. Boudreaux was later released after posting a $6,500 bond.
Kelly S. Richard, 36, 125 Cross La Rue Street, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on May 4, 2015 at 10:45 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding and on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy received information that Richard was at a motel located on Highway 182 in Morgan City. The deputy located Richard and served the warrants for her arrest. No bail is set.
Nathaniel Rollins, 19, 113 Diane Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 4, 2015 at 12:51 pm for theft of goods.
Tabitha Rollins, 42, 113 Diane Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 4, 2015 at 12:56 pm for theft of goods.
A deputy responded to a report of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Using a description provided by a store employee, the deputy located two suspects on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista. The mother and son were seen on video surveillance placing items into a shopping cart before leaving the store without paying for the goods. The deputy released the subjects on summonses to appear in court on August 19, 2015.
