Arrest Report - May 15, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:


Juvenile male, 14, Morgan City, LA and juvenile male, 13, Franklin, LA were arrested on May 14, 2015 at 8:02 am for disturbing the peace (fighting). A school resource officer assigned to the St. Mary Alternative Program/school observed two students engage in a physical altercation in the cafeteria. Following an investigation, both students were released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.


Corey Paul Sauce, Jr., 31, 204 Jeffery Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 14, 2015 at 11:59 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving while intoxicated, license plate light required, and improper lane usage. While on lunch break during a training day, a deputy observed Sauce at an eatery located on Highway 90 in Patterson. The deputy knew that Sauce was wanted on an active arrest warrant. Sauce was transported to the parish jail for booking and was later released on a $1,000 bond.


Jessie J. Landry, 25, 146 Big Bear Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 14, 2015 at 2:06 pm for disturbing the peace. A deputy responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Big Bear Lane and heard a subject screaming inside the residence. The deputy looked into the residence through a partially opened door and observed a male subject throw an object into the kitchen area while yelling. The subject inside the residence, identified as Landry, was detained pending further investigation during which he continued to yell and scream causing a disturbance. The deputy transported Landry to the parish jail for booking. Landry was later released on a $500 bond.


Juvenile female, 12, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 14, 2015 at 3:18 pm on the charge of uncontrollable juvenile. A deputy responded to a report of an ungovernable juvenile at a residence in Patterson. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the juvenile female and a guardian were involved in an argument during which the juvenile refused to comply with the guardian’s requests. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.


Breyden Oncale, 22, 1014 Onstead Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 15, 2015 at 4:20 am for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt of court, operating a vehicle without properly lit lamps for conditions, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy working in booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville was notified of a May 13, 2015 warrant for Oncale who was already incarcerated at the facility. No bail is set.
