It was a pleasure to present at the Super Seniors Brunch held at the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin this week. Captain John Kahl, head of the Criminal Investigation Division, spoke to the group about fraud prevention. While anyone can fall victim to fraud, studies show that con artists are more likely to target senior citizens than other age groups. Kahl presented information on prevalent types of scams including health insurance fraud and offered tips on how to prevent fraud.
