According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
David Pearce, 39, 1492 Evergreen Avenue, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 10, 2015 at 5:54 pm for the following offenses:
- Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Transactions involving drug proceeds
Fonzie Wade, 39, 115 Southwest Boulevard, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 10, 2015 at 5:54 pm for possession of methamphetamine.
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division accompanied by members of the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 1492 Evergreen Avenue. The search warrant was obtained as a result of an investigation into complaints and information regarding illegal narcotics activity taking place at the residence. Detectives learned that Pearce was selling methamphetamine from the location. During the search, detectives located several bags of methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia including small plastic bags and a digital scale. Also, Wade was found to be in possession of a bag of methamphetamine and Pearce was in possession of $510 dollars in cash believed to be derived from illegal drug sales. Pearce and Wade were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jermaine Williams, Sr. 39, 702 Scottie Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 10, 2015 at 6:44 am on 5 warrants for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy transported Williams from the Chitimacha Police Department to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on the active warrants. No bail is set.
Erika Richardson, 25, 619 A 5th Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 10, 2015 at 2:50 pm for aggravated battery. A deputy was dispatched to a 911 hang up call that came from a residence on Irish Bend Road. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Richardson repeatedly swung a kitchen knife at a male victim. The victim sustained a cut on the palm of his hand. The deputy transported Richardson to the parish jail for booking. Richardson was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
Stacy A. Galeas, 46, 1432 Roberts Drive, Houma, LA was arrested on June 10, 2015 at 4:42 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista and learned from store personnel that Galeas passed the final point of sale in the store without paying for several items in her shopping cart. The deputy released Galeas on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.
