According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 44 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Krystal Hood, 32, 111 Almond Road, Lucedale, MS was arrested on June 25, 2015 at 5:21 pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a report of a domestic battery in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Hood slapped a male victim during an argument. The deputy transported Hood to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bail is set.
Stephen Taylor, 31, 417 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 25, 2015 at 5:22 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of following too close and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy made contact with Taylor at his residence and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Taylor to the parish jail for booking. Taylor was released on a $500 bond.
Allen R. Simmons, 55, 719 East Sixteenth Street, Minneapolis, MN was arrested on June 25, 2015 at 8:45 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Simmons was brought to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on a felony probation violation. During booking, a jailer located an active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.
Clarence Williamson, 67, no address, was arrested on June 25, 2015 at 9:44 pm for remaining where forbidden. A deputy responded to a request to remove a subject from a residence on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista. The deputy spoke with the complainant and learned that Williamson had been allowed to stay with the resident for a while but was now no longer allowed on the property. The deputy spoke to Williamson, who then vacated the property. A short time later, the deputy was dispatched to the same location and learned that Williamson had returned to the residence. The deputy transported Williamson to the parish jail for booking. Williamson was released on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.
Mitchell Belanger, Jr., 49, 134 Dottie’s Lane, Ricohoc, LA was arrested on June 26, 2015 at 4:54 am for remaining where forbidden. A deputy responded to a request to remove a subject from a business on Highway 317 in Centerville. The deputy learned that Belanger had been allowed to stay in his truck on the property for a few days and that the time limit for his stay had passed. The deputy spoke with Belanger who then left the property. Later in the night, while conducting a security check of the business, the deputy encountered Belanger, gave him an MRE, and again advised him to leave the property. Belanger complied. Early this morning, the deputy responded to a second request to remove the subject and encountered Belanger a third time. The deputy transported Belanger to the parish jail for booking. Belanger was released on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.
