According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Joseph D. Eusey, Sr., 37, 915 Gum Street, Fernandina Beach, FL was additionally charged on November 2, 2015 at 8:15 am on a warrant for possession of cocaine, violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone), and possession of drug paraphernalia. The warrant stems from a 2013 investigation conducted by narcotics detectives into suspected illegal drug activity. Detectives made contact with Eusey and found cocaine and drug paraphernalia on his person. The investigation occurred within 2,000 feet of a drug free zone, the central park in Bayou Vista. Eusey was already incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bail on the warrant is set at $75,000.
John DeMarco, 25, 105 Jordan Lane, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 2, 2015 at 7:49 pm for driving under suspension. A deputy investigating a vehicle crash on Highway 90 in the Amelia area made contact with DeMarco who was one of the driver’s involved. The deputy learned that DeMarco was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. DeMarco was released on a summons to appear in court on February 11, 2015. Demarco was also cited for following too close.
Louis Neal Lee (aka Charles Clark), 57, last known address of Federal Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 3, 2015 at 4:41 am for theft of goods and resisting an officer. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a male subject who refused to identify himself. The deputy learned from store personnel that the subject was seen concealing items in a bag before leaving the store without paying for the goods. The subject was transported to the parish jail for booking. Lee had initially been identified as Charles Clark (see previous arrest report). However, further investigation into his identity revealed that Lee uses the alias Clark. No bail is set.

Renata Harris, 35, 1041 Shaw Drive, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 2, 2015 at 4:29 pm on 2 warrants for failure to appear for drug court status conferences. Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division located Harris at a business on Highway 182 in Morgan City on the warrants. Bail is set at $200,000.
