According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Kimberly M. Simon, 33, 117 Pamela Drive, Lafayette, LA was arrested on March 28, 2016 at 2:58 pm for driving under suspension. A deputy traveling on Highway 318 observed a vehicle with no visible license plate and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Simon, and learned that she was operating the vehicle with a driver’s license that is listed as suspended. Simon was released on a summons to appear in court on May 27, 2016.
Jessica Trahan, 30, 15189 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 28, 2016 at 4:28 pm for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and criminal trespass. A deputy responded to a complaint in the Franklin area of the unauthorized entry of a home. During the course of the investigation, the deputy gathered evidence that Trahan had entered onto the property and into the victim’s residence without permission. Trahan was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Terrance Jackson, 39, 133 Bertrand Street, Napoleonville, LA was arrested on March 28, 2016 at 3:26 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of unauthorized use of an access card. A correctional officer transported Jackson from the Assumption Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Jackson was released on a $5,000 bond.
