According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division:
Cassie Hotard, 46, 3288 Chitimacha Trail Charenton, LA was arrested on June 14, 2016 at 4:21 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. While booking Hotard into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center a correctional officer located an active warrant for her arrest. Hotard was released on a $1,500 bond.
Aaron Mitchell, Sr., 34, 210 Mitchell Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 14, 2016 at 8:50 pm on a warrant for 2 counts simple battery and remaining where forbidden. A warrant was issued for Mitchell’s arrest following an investigation into a complaint of a fight at a bar in Franklin. The deputy collected evidence indicating that Mitchell struck a female and a male victim during an argument at the business. Mitchell had been told not to return to the location earlier on the same date the altercation took place. Mitchell turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. He was released on a $1,500 bond.
