According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division:
Katron V. Richard, 23, 810 Lovette Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on June 20, 2016 at 11:14 am on a warrant from Jeanerette Police for aggravated arson. A deputy located Richard on the warrant at a business on Highway 182 in Sorrel. The deputy transported Richard to the parish jail for booking. He was later transferred to the custody of the Jeanerette Police Department.
Kieron Mandubourg, 59, 220 Verdun Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on June 20, 2016 at 9:37 pm for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension, and no insurance. A deputy patrolling Highway 317 observed a vehicle in a ditch. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Mandubourg, and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person. While speaking with Mandubourg, the deputy also observed that he was swaying back and forth where he stood and that his speech was slurred. The deputy conducted a standardized field sobriety test. Mandubourg performed the test poorly. He later registered a 0.160g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. Also during the course of the investigation, the deputy found that Mandubourg was driving the vehicle with a suspended license and that he had no insurance. The deputy transported Mandubourg was to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
