According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:
William Traylor, 39, 138 Harvest Court, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on October 11, 2016 at 2:35 pm on the following warrants:
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, operating a vehicle with improper tail lights, and operating a vehicle with an unlit license plate
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of drug paraphernalia
- Warrant from the 32nd Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of texting while driving, expired motor vehicle inspection, no driver’s license on person, and resisting an officer
- Warrant from the 32nd Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery
A deputy assigned to patrol Bayou Vista observed a male subject standing at the intersection of Arlington Road and Jupiter Street. The deputy recognized the subject as Traylor who was wanted on warrants from Terrebonne Parish. The deputy made contact with Traylor and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Heather Hebert, 39, 825 Flattown Road, Charenton, LA was arrested on October 11, 2016 at 2:50 pm on a warrant from State of Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections Division of Probation and Parole for probation violation. A deputy received information regarding the whereabouts and warrant for Hebert from the Division of Probation and Parole. The deputy located Hebert at her residence and transported her to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Louis Lee, 60, 1912 Federal Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 12, 2016 at 1:46 am for theft of goods. A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy located a subject matching the suspect’s description leaving the store and identified him as Lee. While speaking to the deputy, Lee admitted that he took several items from the store without paying for the merchandise. The deputy located the stolen items inside a gym bag Lee was carrying. Lee was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
