Arrest Report - April 4, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrest made by the Narcotics Section: 


Aaron Boudreaux, Sr., 40, 225 Verret Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on April 3, 2017 at 6:15 pm for possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile. The St. Mary Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit observed a vehicle crossing the fog line of Highway 90 in Bayou Vista several times and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the occupants of the car, the narcotics detective received consent to search the vehicle and found methamphetamine along with items of drug paraphernalia on the front passenger side. The subject sitting in the passenger seat was identified as Boudreaux. A juvenile was also in the vehicle. Boudreaux was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
