At 3:12 pm, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call of a shooting in the 4400 block of Highway 83 in Glencoe. Upon arrival, deputies located a male victim injured by an apparent gunshot to the shoulder. Acadian Ambulance transported the victim to Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette for treatment. Detectives obtained surveillance video from the area and are now seeking information on the whereabouts of a vehicle that was seen in the vicinity at the time of the incident.
