K-9 Unit Conducting Interdiction Work on US 90 Locates Meth, 1 Arrested

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

NARCOTICS SECTION K-9 UNIT

 

Rebecca Concienne, 37, 104 Andras Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on March 12, 2018 at 8:27 pm for possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute (over 28 grams), possession of Schedule I (LSD), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit conducting interdiction work on US Highway 90 observed a vehicle drive onto the shoulder of the roadway. The narcotics detective conducted a traffic stop in Patterson and identified the driver as Concienne. While speaking with her, the detective developed information that Concienne was in possession of illegal drugs. The detective received consent to search and located several bags of methamphetamine, a bag containing 3 pieces of LSD, and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine in Concienne’s purse. The detective also found evidence that the methamphetamine was being transported from Houston and that Concienne planned to sell the drugs. The methamphetamine has an estimated street value of over $6,000. Concienne was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set. 

 

 

 

The following arrests were made at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center over the last weekend reporting period.

 

Louis Bourque, 32, 1507 Cross Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on March 12, 2018 at 1:27 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a corrections deputy located the active warrant for Bourque. Bail on the warrant is set at $33,483.89.

 

Angelo Giandelone, Sr., 35, 512 Lassus Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 12, 2018 at 6:43 am on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. Deputies investigating a report of a disturbance at a residence in Calumet in February collected evidence that Giandelone pushed a female juvenile during an argument with another subject. Giandelone turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Giandelone was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Matthew Freeman, 25, 104 Live Oak Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on March 11, 2018 at 1:06 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of no motor vehicle insurance. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a corrections deputy located the active warrant for Freeman. Freeman was released on a $500 bond.

 

Tamario Ulmer, 26, 6190 Johns Road, Hueytown, AL was arrested on March 11, 2018 at 7:55 pm on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and aggravated criminal damage to property. Ulmer was transported from another jail facility to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Bail is set at $40,000.

 

Dang Nguyen, 49, 1309 Arbor Circle, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on March 9, 2018 at 2:03 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of vagrancy and remaining where forbidden and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Nguyen was transported from the St. Tammany Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set at $10,500.

 

Adrian Hardy, 36, 112 Texaco Street, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on March 9, 2018 at 9:22 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear on drug and traffic related charges. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a corrections deputy located the active warrants for Hardy. Bail is set at $10,578.

 

Brock McClain, 36, 1063 Whitney Drive, St. Martinville, LA was arrested on March 10, 2018 at 5:25 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. McClain turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. McClain was released on a $5,000 bond.

 

Joseph Vice, 30, 106 D Briarcliff Drive, Youngsville, LA was arrested on March 12, 2018 at 8:50 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a corrections deputy located the active warrant for Vice. Vice was released on a $1,500 bond.
