St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Juvenile female, 15 of Charenton, la on 16 March 2018 at 403pm was arrested for misuse of 911calling. The juvenile had made several false calls to 911 resulting in arrest. Juvenile released to parent and will be referred to Juvenile court.

Dylan Allen, 20 of Cross Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on 4-20-2018 at 1:21am on the charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. Deputies were dispatched to area of Hwy 182 by Field Road in reference to a male subject staggering in the roadway. He was transported to a friend’s residence but later a call came in from residents of him breaking things resulting in arrest. He was transported to parish jail booked and incarcerated bond $1000.00

Leon Peredo, age 36 of Degravelle Road in Amelia, LA was arrested on 4-20-2018 at 12:49 am on charges of battery domestic violence and domestic child abuse endangerment. This stems from an argument between Leon and a female victim with child next to them. Leon committed a battery on the female victim. He was transported to parish jail booked and incarcerated. Bond $6000.
