Arrest Report - April 23, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 72-hour weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 125 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tyler Davis, 21, 504 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 20, 2018 at 7:00 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of remaining where forbidden. After learning of the warrants for his arrest, Davis turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Davis was released on a $3,000 bond.

 

Juvenile male, 16, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 20, 2018 at 11:54 am for possession of Schedule I (marijuana) and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone). A school resource officer responded to a report of an illegal drug found at the St. Mary Alternative Program school in Verdunville. The deputy found that the juvenile was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Mary Frisco, 36, 400 Camellia Street #2, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 21, 2018 at 1:40 am for the following offenses:

  • Improper supervision of a minor by a parent or legal custodian
  • Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of Legend Drug (levetiracetam) without a prescription
  • Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under 17 years of age
  • Disturbing the peace (intoxication)

 

Jerome Reed, 29, 5435 Avery Island Road, New Iberia, LA was arrested on April 21, 2018 at 4:42 am for the following offenses:

  • Improper supervision of a minor by a parent or legal custodian
  • Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of Legend Drug (levetiracetam) without a prescription
  • Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under 17 years of age
  • Disturbing the peace (intoxication)

 

Deputies investigated a call for service regarding the welfare of several subjects in the Charenton Levee Road area. Deputies spoke with Frisco and Reed and observed that both subjects showed signs of drug impairment. Two children were with the subjects at the location on the levee. Deputies found a bag of methamphetamine, a straw used to consume methamphetamine, and levetiracetam pills. The Department of Children and Family Services was contacted regarding the investigation. Frisco and Reed were transported to an area hospital for evaluation. After being released from the medical facility, Frisco and Reed were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Michelle Dailey, 40, 100 Coor Road, Waveland, MS was arrested on April 21, 2018 at 4:10 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy patrolling the Siracusaville area observed the driver of a vehicle commit a traffic violation and conducted vehicle stop. The deputy spoke with the occupants, identified a passenger as Dailey, and received consent to search the vehicle. The deputy located a syringe inside the vehicle and found evidence that the drug paraphernalia belonged to Dailey. Dailey was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Dailey was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Casey Larocca, 27, 4025 W Napoleon Avenue, Metarie, LA was arrested on April 21, 2018 at 8:51 pm for operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. A deputy responding to a call for service about a reckless driver located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. The deputy identified the driver as Larocca and found that she was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Larocca was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Larocca was released on a $1,500 bond.
