St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Ty Borel, 17, 406 David Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 24, 2018 at 10:49 pm for possession of Schedule I (marijuana). A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista stopped to speak with 2 subjects riding bicycles on Saturn Road. The deputy identified one of the subjects as Borel and located marijuana on his person. Borel was released on a summons to appear in court on August 15, 2018.
