Arrest Report - June 7, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Devonte Colar, 25, 900 Mississippi Street, New Iberia, LA was arrested on June 6, 2018 at 12:09 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of violation of uniform controlled dangerous substance in a drug-free zone, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Colar was transported from the Iberia Parish Jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Ermine Miller Jr., 53, no address available, was arrested on June 6, 2018 at 1:20 pm for criminal trespassing. A deputy patrolling the area of Myette Point observed a vehicle traveling on the levee. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver of the vehicle, Miller. The deputy released Miller on a summons to appear in court on September 4, 2018.

 

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Jeremy Simmons, 36, 301 Pecan Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 6, 2018 at 7:31 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia. Narcotics Section detectives executed a search warrant at Simmons’ residence. During the search of the residence detectives located a digital scale and plastic baggies. Simmons was released on a summons to appear in court on September 4, 2018.
