St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tanner Theriot, 18, 1139 Stephensville Road, Stephensville, LA was arrested on June 18, 2018, at 12:45 pm for driving under suspension and following too close. A deputy patrolling Amelia responded to a crash on Lake Palourde Road near Friendship Alley. The deputy made contact with a driver, Theriot, and found evidence that he rear-ended a vehicle due to following closely. The deputy also learned that Theriot was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. Theriot was released on a summons with a court date of September 4, 2018.

 

Jarred Gaudet, 28, 119 Ranger Lane, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 18, 2018, at 2:03 pm for driving under suspension. A deputy patrolling Glencoe observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 83. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Gaudet. The deputy learned that Gaudet was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. Gaudet was released on a summons with a court date of September 4, 2018.
