Arrest Report - August 6, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 110 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Labron Lee, 25, 317 North 13th Street, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on August 3, 2018, at 2:06 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges:

  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Operating a vehicle with an unlit license plate
  • Operating a vehicle without a driver’s license

Lee was transported from Lafourche Parish Jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond was set.

 

Melissa Edmonson-Moras, 38, 1010 Paradise Road, Ball, LA was arrested on August 3, 2018, at 5:57 pm on a Rapides Parish Detention Center Detainer. While assisting Rapides Parish with a detainer, a deputy patrolling the area of Charenton made contact with Edmonson on Martin Luther King Road. Edmonson was detained and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for holding.

 

Christopher Abshire, 33, 1428 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 3, 2018, at 8:11 pm for illegal use of fireworks. A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a large ball of sparks explode from a driveway on Saturn Road. The deputy made contact with Abshire and found him to be in possession of additional fireworks. Abshire was released on a summons to appear in court on November 13, 2018.

 

Curtis Plaisance, 22, 2882 Highway 1, Golden Meadow, LA was arrested on August 4, 2018, at 9:46 am on two Lafourche Parish warrants for extortion and non-consensual disclosure of a private image. A deputy patrolling Amelia received information that Plaisance was at a business on Duhon Boulevard. The deputy made contact with Plaisance and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond is set.

 

Michael Guillotte III, 26, 605 Landry Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 4, 2018, at 11:58 am for theft. A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista responded to a local business for a theft complaint. The deputy made contact with Guillotte and learned that he had taken items from the business over a period of time. Guillotte was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and was released on a $3,000 bond.

 

Juvenile male, 15, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on August 4, 2018, at 4:04 pm, for criminal damage to property. A deputy patrolling the area of Jeanerette responded to a residence on Highway 182 for an ungovernable juvenile. The deputy learned that the juvenile damaged property at the home. The juvenile was arrested and released into the custody of his guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Scott Thompson, 55, 3023 North Highway 70, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 4, 2018, at 4:29 pm, for theft. A deputy patrolling the area of Bayou Vista responded to a local business for a theft complaint. The deputy made contact with Thompson and learned he had taken items from the business. Thompson was released on a summons to appear in court on November 13, 2018.

 

Lezlie Jones, 43, 204 Mills Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on August 5, 2018, on 4:22 am, for the following offenses:

  • Driving without insurance
  • Expired inspection
  • Expired license
  • Obedience to police

While working a crash on Highway182 in Sorrell, the deputy observed a vehicle pass through a roadblock. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Jones. During the stop, the deputy learned that Jones was operating the vehicle with an expired license, expired inspection, and without insurance. Jones was released on a summons to appear in court on November 13, 2018.

 

Kenneth Tillman, Jr., 32, 205 John Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on August 5, 2018, at 7:06 am for misuse of 911 and disturbing the peace (intoxication). A deputy patrolling Four Corners responded to a residence on Jones Road #1 for a complaint of 911 misuse. The deputy found evidence that Tillman was intoxicated and called 911 six times although there was no emergency. Tillman was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $3,000.

 

Olivia Prado, 24, 7222 Highway 182 Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 5, 2018, at 5:17 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy patrolling the area of Morgan City responded to the Highway 182 Bridge for a welfare check. The deputy made contact with Prado and learned of active warrants for her arrest. Prado was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $5,000.

 

Rena Wilson, 39, 408 Snead Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on August 5, 2018, at 4:58 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, violation of controlled dangerous substance law (drug-free zone), and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy was dispatched to Patterson Police Department for a female wishing to turn herself in on the warrant. The deputy made contact with Wilson. Wilson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $5,000.

 

Analdia Gibson, 27, 3201 Second Street, Lake Charles, LA was arrested on August 5, 2018, at 9:39 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gibson turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.

 

Juvenile male, 16, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 6, 2018, at 2:26 am for the following offenses:

  • Curfew violation
  • Resisting arrest
  • Criminal trespassing
  • Bicycle equipment required for night operation

Deputies patrolling Bayou Vista observed juveniles on bicycles without proper lighting at night. Upon attempting to make contact the juveniles fled on foot. After a short foot chase, deputies located two juvenile males in the yard of a residence on Neptune Street. Both juveniles were released into the custody of their guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Robert Narcisse, 56, 605 Grove Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 4, 2018, at 7:11 pm for possession of crack cocaine, violation of controlled dangerous substance law (church), and obstruction of justice.

A Narcotics Section detective patrolling Siracusaville observed a vehicle parked in the roadway on Joseph Street near a church. The deputy made contact with the occupants and observed a passenger, Narcisse, reaching down toward the floor of the vehicle. The detective obtained consent to search the vehicle and located crack cocaine. The detective learned that the crack cocaine belonged to Narcisse. Narcisse was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $1,000.

 

Deion Notto, 23, 613 Tiffany Street, Patterson, La was arrested on August 5, 2018, at 2:00 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of improper lane usage and improper turn. A narcotics detective patrolling the area of Patterson conducted a traffic stop on Main Street. The detective made contact with Notto, who had an active warrant for his arrest. Notto was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Notto was released on a $375 bond.

 

Cayd Hatch, 21, 713 Prairie Road North, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 5, 2018, at 4:55 am for failing to have license plate lights, failure to signal, and driving under suspension. A narcotics detective patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle with no license plate lights, and the vehicle failed to signal when turning. The detective conducted a traffic stop and during the course of the stop, the detective learned that Hatch was driving with a suspended license. Hatch was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on November 13, 2018.

 

Joshua Miller, 22, 708 Boudreaux Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on August 5, 2018, at 4:55 am for possession of marijuana. A narcotics detective patrolling Bayou Vista conducted a traffic stop on Arlington Road. While conducting the traffic stop, the detective smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The detective spoke with the passenger, Miller, and learned that Miller was in possession of marijuana. Miller was arrested and released on a summons to appear on November 13, 2018.
