Sheriff Announces Dates for Hunter Safety Course

Sheriff Scott Anslum announces that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting a 10-hour Louisiana Hunter Education Certification Course. The course will be held at the Bayou Vista Community Center beginning Monday, August 20th, Wednesday, August 22nd, Thursday, August 23rd, and Saturday, August 25th. The Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday classes will be from 6 pm to 9 pm each night. Saturday is range day and will start at 8 am. All 10 hours of the class must be attended in order to receive certification.
