Arrest Report- October 17, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 27 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Stephanie Mercer, 47, 1811 J Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 16, 2018, at 4:52 pm on a warrant for simple battery.

A detective went to a residence on J Street to locate Mercer in reference to a warrant for her arrest for simple battery. The arrest warrant stemmed from an incident at a local business in which Mercer and another person allegedly were striking a person. The detective made contact with Mercer without incident and transported her to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Mercer was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Brittan Boudreaux, 33, 3004 Lizabeth Drive, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 16, 2018, at 9:20 pm on eleven warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

-        Speeding

-        Possession of drug paraphernalia

-        Resisting an officer (x2)

-        Criminal trespass (x2)

-        Contempt of court (x2)

-        Possession of drug paraphernalia-attempted

-        Contempt of court-probation fees

-        Contempt of court-fine

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a subject riding a bicycle with no lights and made contact with the rider, Boudreaux.  Through the investigation, the deputy learned that Boudreaux had eleven warrants for his arrest through the Morgan City Police Department.  Boudreaux was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Boudreaux was transferred to another agency.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Lee Boudreaux, 43, 225 North Verret Street, Amelia, LA, was arrested on October 16, 2018, at 6:14 pm for two drug court warrants for creation or operation of clandestine laboratory.

A detective located Boudreaux at a residence on Arnold Street in Amelia.   The detective arrested Boudreaux on the active warrants without incident and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail was set.
