Arrest Report- October 22, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 119 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Frederick Tyre, 42, 115 Glenn Hill Drive, Houma, LA, was arrested on October 19, 2018, at 12:38 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

-        possession of methamphetamine

-        possession of marijuana

-        possession of drug paraphernalia

-        illegal use, consumption, possession, or distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under 17

-        operating a vehicle while license is suspended.

A corrections deputy transported Tyre to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from another agency on an active warrant for his arrest.  Tyre was booked and incarcerated on said warrant. Bail was set at $5,000.

 

Egbert Mayon, 54, 297 Grey Eagle Road, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on October 19, 2018, at 1:38 pm for a leash law violation.

A deputy patrolling the area of Charenton was dispatched to a residence on Grey Eagle Road in reference to an animal complaint.  Upon arrival, the deputy was approached by 2 dogs roaming free in the yard. The deputy made contact with the homeowner, Mayon, and arrested him for leash law violation. Mayon was released on a summons to appear on January 4, 2019.

 

Denise Schevikhoven, 40, 3248 Highway 308, Napoleonville, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2018, at 1:36 am for driving while intoxicated.

Deputies patrolling Amelia observed a vehicle driving without headlights on and conducted a traffic stop. The deputies made contact with the driver, Schevikhoven. During the stop, the deputies smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from Schevikhoven’s person. A deputy conducted field sobriety in which Schevikhoven performed poorly. Schevikhoven was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for a breath test on the Intoxilyzer 9000, which determined her blood alcohol content to be 0.77%g%. Schevikhoven was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking.   Bail was set at $2,500.  

 

Scott Mayon, 47, 1-6 Hebert Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2018, at 2:00 am for possession of methamphetamine.

A deputy patrolling Amelia observed a male subject walking north on Lake Palourde Road turn around and walk faster after the deputy approached. The deputy conducted an investigatory stop and made contact with the man, identified as Mayon. Through the investigation, meth was found in Mayon’s possession. Mayon was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

Heath Loupe, Jr., 21, 973 Highway 90 West, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2018, at 3:25 am for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista was dispatched to a local business in reference to a medical emergency. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Loupe, who was sleeping in a vehicle. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and checked on Loupe. The deputy could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After the medical check was completed, the deputy found a marijuana cigarette and drug paraphernalia belonging to Loupe in the vehicle. Loupe was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 4, 2019.

 

Robert Parker, Jr., 37, 2674 Fourth Street, Berwick, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2018, at 11:51 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of introducing or possessing contraband in any municipal or parish prison or jail and possession of synthetic cannabinoids.  

A corrections deputy made contact with Parker when he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from another agency on a Patterson Police Department bench warrant for possession of a firearm-felon, attempted 2nd-degree murder, discharging firearms where prohibited, and resisting an officer by flight. Parker was apprehended by the Jeanerette Marshal’s Office and transported to the LEC for incarceration. The corrections deputy learned of an active St. Mary Parish warrant for failure to appear and arrested him on said warrant. No bail has been set.  

 

Jerwone Kiel, 28, 4420 Highway 83, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2018, at 8:04 pm on the following charges:

-        stop signs and yield signs  

-        driving under suspension

-        possession of marijuana

-        possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug-free zone

-        illegal possession of stolen firearms

A deputy patrolling the area of Baldwin observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Bollard Street. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Kiel. During the investigation, the deputy smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Kiel consented to a search of the vehicle and the deputy found drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a pistol. The deputy learned that the firearm was reported stolen and Kiel’s driver’s license had been suspended. Kiel was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bail has been set.  

 

Hunter Chauvin, 23, 113 Brien Street, Houma, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2018, at 9:59 pm on two warrants for failure to appear in Terrebonne Parish on the charges of speeding and driving while intoxicated and on four warrants for failure to appear in Lafourche Parish for the following charges:

-        possession of schedule I

-        possession of schedule IV

-        driving under suspension (2 counts)

-        headlights required (3 counts)

Vickie Norwood, 37, 323 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2018, at 9:59 pm for possession of marijuana.

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle fail to completely stop at a stop sign and fail to give a proper turn signal when turning. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Chauvin, and a passenger, Norwood. Through the investigation, the deputy found marijuana in Norwood’s possession. The deputy learned of active warrants for Chauvin in both Terrebonne Parish and Lafourche Parish. Norwood was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 4, 2019. Chauvin was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bail has been set.  

 

Rondrick Pierre, 24, 216 East Bollard Street, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2018, at 11:55 pm for brake lights required and possession of marijuana.

A deputy patrolling the area of Baldwin observed a vehicle with the passenger side tail light out. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Pierre. While speaking with Pierre, the deputy smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Through the investigation, marijuana was found. Pierre was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 4, 2019.  

 

Chantelle Hebert, 45, 607 C Kirk Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2018, at 11:55 pm for no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a car fail to use a proper turn signal. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Hebert. Through the stop, Hebert couldn’t produce proof of insurance and the deputy found a glass pipe belonging to Hebert. Hebert was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 4, 2019.  

 

Daniel Elliot, 19, 5656 Autumn Blossom Avenue, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2018, at 12:53 pm for criminal mischief and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Juvenile male, 16, Berwick, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2018, at 12:53 pm for criminal mischief.

Deputies patrolling the area of Morgan City was dispatched to the old Atchafalaya River Bridge in reference to a complaint of two men burning a sheet and throwing it into the roadway. The offense had occurred over the water, making it jurisdiction of the Sheriff’s Office.  A Morgan City Police officer had made contact and detained the two subjects as they were coming down the bridge stairwell. The deputies made contact with the two subjects identified as Elliot and a juvenile. After the investigation, Elliot was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $1,000. The juvenile was transported to the Morgan City Sheriff’s Office for processing. The juvenile was arrested and released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Trey Rouchon, 24, 2105 Chatsworth Road, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2018, at 2:22 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of arson-simple and a probation violation.

A corrections deputy made contact with Rouchon as he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from another jurisdiction. The deputy learned of an active warrant for his arrest and Rouchon was booked on said warrant. No bail has been set.

 

Jamar Spain, 30, 2408 Robertson Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2018, at 4:45 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of attempted distribution of cocaine and a probation violation.

A corrections deputy made contact with Spain as he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from another jurisdiction. The deputy learned of an active warrant for his arrest and Spain was booked on said warrant. No bail has been set.

 

Deion Notto, 23, 613 Tiffany Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 22, 2018, at 12:22 am for operating a vehicle while under suspension and proper equipment required on vehicle.

A deputy patrolling the area of Patterson observed a vehicle operating without its license plate being illuminated. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Notto. Through the stop, the deputy learned that Notto’s license was suspended.  Notto was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 4, 2019.  

 

Zeth Aucoin, 21, 146 Gerald Street, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on October 22, 2018, at 1:09 pm for driving under suspension.

A deputy patrolling the area of Bayou Vista observed a vehicle operating with a tail light out. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Aucoin. Through the stop, the deputy learned that Aucoin’s license was suspended.  Aucoin was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 4, 2019.
